Episode 25: Manorun Organic Farm, Part 1

Manorun Organic Farm

Cat chats with Manorun Organic Farm founders Chris Krucker and Denise Trigatti about raising a farm, while raising a family, and what it takes to thrive in both areas today.

Manorun Organic Farm is a family run farm set on the outskirts of Hamilton in Copetown, Ontario. Chris Krucker and Denise Trigatti alongside their four children—daughters Naomi, Nakita and Keshia and son Kaleb—have been farming organically for 25 years, offering organic vegetables through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). Lovers of nature, food and community, Chris and Denise have turned Manorun into a local hub for all things creative. Growing food is just a small part of what happens on the farm. Together they have created a farm space that has trained many young farmers, grown resilient communities, and provided countless opportunities for family members to pursue their dreams. They have turned farming into a lifestyle driven by art, philosophy, music, and the wilderness. Learn more about Manorun here.
